Las Vegas figures for October

The latest numbers are out for the Las Vegas real estate market.

October:
For the 2nd straight month there were fewer than 1,000 homes sold with 974 closings reported (990 in Sept).

Prices are down 11.4% from Oct 2006, sales are down 42.3% from a year ago. Median price is now $274,725.

Inventory declined by 1.2% from 24,218 to 23,917.

These figures are for single family homes, condos are excluded.
