If you have bought a property in Allegheny County, PA from 2019 to 2023, you could be missing out on huge property tax savings!

Recent legal changes regarding property taxes in Allegheny County, PA have created a new opportunity for residential and commercial property owners to significantly lower their property taxes in 2023. The County’s “STEB RATIO” has dropped significantly for 2023 to 63.6%, from 87.5% in 2021. The largest drop in the last 15 years.

WHY DOES THIS MATTER?

As a recent residential and/or commercial property purchaser in Allegheny County, PA you could be stuck overpaying 2023 (and beyond) property taxes by 20% or more!

This includes owners who have recently been appealed by School Districts or who have recently fought to have their taxes reduced through the appeals process.

Allegheny County WILL NOT adjust your property’s value for you, and YOU WILL CONTINUE TO BE OVERTAXED UNLESS YOU file a property tax appeal for 2023.

The Allegheny County tax appeal DEADLINE is March 31, 2023. You must file by this deadline.

However, not all properties will benefit from an appeal.
