Has anyone been following the news on rental bonds that Blackstone is starting to promote?

I have never been a fan of owning multiple single family homes, even on a small scale. I know a few REITs and private equity groups have been doing it for awhile now, but this seems like a double edged sword all the way around.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out with investors and what effect it will have on smaller, local and regional real estate companies.

Any thoughts?
