need a general contractor or get subcontractors?

@Joel Quinche both replies above have great advice that I would recommend following. In addition to that, I would like to add that in the state of Florida, you can't legally subcontract work without a GC license. Is it still something people do all the time? Yes, but for singular or small projects. I've never heard of someone building an entire home unlicensed unless you had previous contracting experience and just weren't licensed in the state
