Investing in expensive area.

Is there anyone  who have experience in investing in expensive area. I live in Brampton  and average price of homes is near about 1 million . Finding positive cash flow property is really hard or near to impossible in this market. However, if someone know some other strategies other than rental which should work in expensive area like Toronto or Brampton please advise me about investing in expensive area.

I agree! The luxury markets or resort towns are the best places to flip since inventory is low due to limit land and restrictions. I love the 30A area because of the appreciation and affluent buyer base. They don't care about cost to buy or interest rates since they are more excited about buying into a brand and area. In our area, owning in 30A is the epitome of success which is why people will waive appraisals, contingencies and pay all cash.
