Seeking Advice on investment.

The government of canada continuously  increasing the interest rates as well as tax on non residence  to cool down the market. However, despite of it there are some other drivers of prices (demand of houses and population) and these two later factors are fighting against the interest rates (government) . As a result houses are becoming over priced in most of areas in Canada. What do you think how long the prices will escalate and is it a good time to invest in this market trend.
