Rent Control Could be Coming to 12 States - WSJ

According to the latest article by the Wall Street Journal, governments are stepping up efforts to study and consider imposing rent control in at least 12 states. My belief is governments should not impose RENT control without PROPERTY TAX control at the same time. If income and expenses become imbalanced, you simply reduce the stock of rental housing, which only makes the situation worse. Just look at the markets that currently have rent control measures already in place. Check out the article and share your thoughts.
