Small multi-family (2-4 units) buy & hold investment in La Mesa.
Purchase price: $685,000
Cash invested: $25,000
First Investment & House Hack! I closed on my first investment property in September! I used a FHA loan to finance the property. It is a 1950's build side by side Duplex in La Mesa, Ca. The property needs some minor systems upgrades and cosmetic upgrades that I pan to complete over a 9-12 month period while living in the property. After upgrades are complete the plan is to refinance into a conventional loan and load up for a new deal!
What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?
Very inexpensive way to get into a great real estate market and acquire a property that I can force appreciation on.
