Does anybody by any chance have their own Excel sheet for analyzing rental properties? I'm new to REI and wanna start repping out analysis on a daily basis. Cheers

@Tyrone Lee, I recommend www.adventuresincre.com and their pool of excel models.

One thing to be aware of is there is two sides of underwriting: the practice of plugging numbers into a model, and the much harder to learn piece of knowing if those numbers are remotely accurate.

The first is necessary and learning how a model flows, how changes of income, expenses, waterfalls all effect the overall returns.

The second requires market knowledge and monitoring, research reports, experience in the market (either personally or through others), etc.
