Beginner Investment in commercial property

Investment Info:

Industrial commercial investment investment in Barboursville.

I inherited my fathers auto repair shop and have been renting it out since 2020. Currently going to be doing some repairs while the next tennant moves in.

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

I unfortunatly inherited the business & building from my father when he passed away.

How did you add value to the deal?

Going to be have the original roof repaired

Lessons learned? Challenges?

First tennant moved out and there has been about $2,000.00 in damages done (biggest portion was damage done by the trash company in the parking). Should have kept his security deposit.
