Primary Residence to Airbnb

Investment Info:

Single-family residence buy & hold investment.

Purchase price: $248,500
Cash invested: $17,000

Purchased as a primary residence with 5% down payment, moved out 1.5 years later, left my furnishings and listed on Airbnb. Has been 90+% occupied since, and nets an average of $700/mo. Love the strategy of buying a primary, occupying for a year, and leaving behind as a rental! 5 years later, and I have $70K in equity at a 3.625% interest rate.

    @Carter Still

    Love this strategy as well! In the process of turning my primary into a rental.
