Posted

Investment Info:

Single-family residence other investment.

Cash invested: $1,000,000
Sale price: $2,875,000

Realized a 65% return on developing this 8 bedroom, oceanfront vacation rental.

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

I was very interested at the time in building an oceanfront, rental vacation home.

How did you finance this deal?

Construction loan that went into fixed rate mortgage through Bank of America.

How did you add value to the deal?

Assembled the team (principally architect and builder).
Brought vision of creating a unique, beautiful ocean front home that did not copycat other home designs in the Outer Banks.

What was the outcome?

Extremely high return on equity investment.
