Jersey City House Hack
Investment Info:
Small multi-family (2-4 units) buy & hold investment.
Actively looking for a small multifamily deal in the Jersey City/Bayonne area to house hack.
What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?
My husband and I want to stop paying a ridiculous amount in rent every month, and instead begin our journey toward financial freedom through real estate investing. House hacking is a great way for us to 1) start building equity 2) offset our cost of living significantly 3) gain experience in managing one or two rental units.
How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?
Still working on that...
How did you finance this deal?
We are first-time home buyers, so we can do a really low down payment and a standard 30-year primary residence bank loan.
