We are now officially the owners of a strip mall

Yeah, we're bigshots.

OK, so it's only 3200 square feet, 6 units and the "anchor tenant" is an antiques store (which uses three of the units). But it's a strip mall nonetheless!

And the purchase price is hard to complain about: $180,000. It's in Independence, MO on a fairly busy road. It also doesn't need much, but could use at least one new AC Compressor and new windows. Rehab should be $10,000 if that. All six units are occupied and current (on month to month leases) at very low rents. Total rent is only $1650 but we should be able to get it up to around $2400 pretty quickly which should make it cash flow well (the tenants pay their own utilities.

I should note my brother @Phillip Syrios found this one and did the due diligence. Definitely a good deal although not quite as big a deal as saying "we bought a strip mall" would imply. Kinda like saying you are a billionaire but referring to the Shibu coins and not dollars.
