What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?
1st building. I just wanted to start.

My agent found it for me. Asking price was 375k, we negotiated 365k and they agreed.

How did you add value to the deal?
I spent a little over 100k in remodeling. Updated roof. New plumbing. Finished basement unit and remodeled 1st and 2nd floor.
What was the outcome?
Huge success and set me up for my 2nd and 3rd property. I learned so much.

Remodeling cost more than you think it’s gonna cost and it’s gonna take more time than expected to remodel.
