Our Second Investment

This was a house-hack and our second home. It's a duplex with 3bed/1.5baths in each unit. We moved into the top unit side and inherited renters on the bottom floor (bad move I might share about in another post). We made some improvements to the top unit before moving in: new floors, paint, and appliances. We moved in 2018 and kept this duplex. We've had a few tenants and it's cash flowed nicely.

Sounds like a good deal. Does the bottom unit cover all expenses?
