Help with a Spreadsheet I Created

Russell Cavin
Posted

Hello, I just completed a flip and I created a spreadsheet that I was able to use to forecast expenses then once we had the exact number I would replace our existing estimate.  It all worked pretty well, but somehow the final number didn't balance with our profits.  It was off by about $25k.  Luckily we did well enough on the deal that it wasn't a huge issue, but I can't seem to figure out how to get these numbers to balance.  Would someone that's more experienced with this be willing to get another set of eyes on it to see if you may be able to help figure out what I'm doing wrong?  Thanks so much!
