Investment Info:

Mobile home fix & flip investment in Polk City.

Purchase price: $28,000
Cash invested: $10,000
Sale price: $144,500

Live in flip I bought the mobile home destroyed and restored and upgraded the whole thing my-self with help from family and friends.

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

I knew this would be a great opportunity for me and my wife to either get land cheap or flip in the future into our dream home.

How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

My grandparents are the ones that found it they are property investors it was a auction house but I was buying to live in.

How did you finance this deal?

Privet money from my grandparents.

How did you add value to the deal?

Fixing the entire house the floors all had to be replaced and lots of drywall work, removed all the strips over the seems and mudded them out and sprayed knock-down thought out the house. New appliances also added some privacy fence on the property.

What was the outcome?

Walk away with a little more than 108K bought our dream house and waiting to find a BRRRR project to invest the rest of my money in.

Lessons learned? Challenges?

This was way to easy to do not to keep going, I am learning that these deals do not come up every day.

Did you work with any real estate professionals (agents, lenders, etc.) that you'd recommend to others?

Alysia Cortes, S&D Real-estate. She is the best out there.
