Accidental Rental Property
Investment Info:
Single-family residence buy & hold investment.
Purchase price: $125,000
Cash invested: $2,400
This property became an accidental rental when we purchased it with the intent of living long term, but we were called to live elsewhere shortly afterwards. Since then we've had a steady flow of tenants with very minimal need for maintenance. Our current strategy with this property is to use the positive cash flow to pay down the mortgage in order to get a HELOC and begin BRRR in our market.
