Fix and Flip turned into an AirBNB

Investment Info:

Single-family residence fix & flip investment.

Purchase price: $38,000
Cash invested: $12,000
Sale price: $76,000

Fix and AirBNB and then sold for significant profit.

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

We were looking to flip an older home to restore usefulness but found out we could AirBNB for significant profit once it was fixed up.

How did you finance this deal?

Cash

How did you add value to the deal?

Drastic design update and all new flooring. Mold Remediation was key.

What was the outcome?

Good profit and some fun stories from AirBNB guests.

Lessons learned? Challenges?

Be careful what neighborhood you buy in - and the properties neighbors can be a deal-killer when you go to sell.
