What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?
I love 50-60's ranches. They are my bread and butter.
How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?
I am a Realtor and it popped up on the MLS.
How did you finance this deal?
I used a portfolio ARM.
How did you add value to the deal?
We painted the entire house, new countertops... We salvaged the upper solid wood cabinets, cleaned them up, painted and changed out the hardware. We put in new base cabinets that matched the faces of the uppers. New plumbing, new tub surround, new toilet and all new light fixtures. Painted the exterior and ripped out the old landscaping and replaced with mulch.
