First investment, so much fun to renovate

Investment Info:

Single-family residence buy & hold investment in Philadelphia .

Purchase price: $165,000
Cash invested: $30,000

Single-family house that needed just about everything but the bathroom needed heavy work, mostly done by myself and my friends and family.

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

The neighborhood was just becoming hot, the house had good bones with no recent updates. Lots of opportunity to make it special.
