My First Investment Property: A House Hack in Long Beach, CA

Investment Info:

Single-family residence buy & hold investment in Long Beach.

3 Bed, 2 Bath SFR with an additional upstairs "loft" room (4 rentable rooms) and detached garage.

I purchased this property with a friend six months after we graduated from Long Beach State University. We are currently house hacking the upstairs loft room and third bedroom.

While this investment was more so a "base hit" rather than a "home run", the learning experience we received was invaluable. I consider this purchase and experience to be the seed currently growing into the real estate investing career of my dreams!
