Hi BP,

I’m a Newbie at investing, just getting started. My current goal is to earn passive income from investment properties. So, after doing some research and listening to bp podcast I discovered rock stock and rent to retirement. Have anyone utilized these particular sources and if so what was your experience like?

Thanks,

T. Brown

@Jonathan Greene

You are assuming everyone wants to do this own their own.  Many don't!  You are also assuming that all turnkey is the same, which it is not.

@Tequila Brown

Since you asked specifically about people's experiences working with my company, I would recommend paying attention to comments from investors who have actually purchased with us.  No one on this thread has except for Joseph.  Everyone is more than eager to jump in and tell you about their company or business opportunity however.  Make sure you are sorting out someone's opinion in response to your question verses a self promotion.  I've provided many links for you to easily reach out to investors that have worked with us to form your own opinion.  I love the input about syndication opportunity on this thread even though you didn't ask about it...we also do syndications.  There are pros & cons of all strategies.

We work with hundreds of investors that want the financial benefits of owning real estate, but don't want to spend the time dedicated to doing all the heavy lifting on their own to allow them to spend more time with their family & professional career.  We spend a lot of time with our investors helping them to build an over all financial strategy, learn the benefits of investing in real estate, navigate complicated topics such as; creative financing methods, tax strategies, entity structuring, 1031 exchanges, cost segregation studies, market analysis, etc.  We've also coached many investors that have originally purchased turnkey with us to build their own wholesaling or flipping business.  @Joseph Crunkilton is one of them.  Having an already established portfolio of cash flowing, turnkey properties provides a good foundation while you can work on other strategies, and you don't have to take the time, risk & money of doing everything on your own from the very beginning which make no mistake there is a lot of all that involved!  Working with the right turnkey team that aligns with your goals is essential to being successful.  There are many benefits of purchasing turnkey to include:

  1. -Investing in a market outside of your own that may offer better returns or diversification.
  2. -Employing another strategy help you scale up faster than you would on your own.
  3. -Learning how a well operating machine already operates in multiple markets.
  4. -Allowing you to possibly get started sooner than you would on your own if it's an easier entry point.
  5. -Building your network in different locations to ultimately become a more experienced investor.  This is to include lenders, CPAs, Attorneys, Insurance agents, property managers, etc.
  6. -Creating passive income where you are not having to buy yourself another full time job in real estate allowing you to focus more time on with your family life/professional career.

We've helped many investors build a successful portfolio in multiple markets across numerous states investing in single family, multifamily & commercial assets.
