Investment Info:

Small multi-family (2-4 units) other investment in Miami.

Purchase price: $335,000

We purchased a duplex, which we later demolished, and are in the process of developing the former site into a 6 unit boutique rental that will consist of all 2 BR / 1 BA.

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

Multi-family investing and an opportunity to invest in the next up and coming neighborhood of Miami.

How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

Maggie helped us find the location and the site. She was extremely helpful throughout the process and very diligent.

Lessons learned? Challenges?

Always ask questions. Better to ask then regret not asking down the line. Also with development I recommend getting a handle on where are the point of connections prior to engaging in a project. This can be a big ticket item for projects.

Did you work with any real estate professionals (agents, lenders, etc.) that you'd recommend to others?

Maggie and I would highly reccomend.
