What kind of property is this, @Courtney Benson?

As far as your analysis goes:

  • You'll likely need 6 months to refi with a new appraisal.
  • You can probably pull repairs and CapEx down to 15% combined. Especially after a big reno.
  • You're more than tripling the value of the property. You should expect your taxes to go up proportionally.
  • $10k+ in loan fees at the refi is A LOT. I'm sure you can do better. Shop around.
  • What about lawn care, snow removal, and admin/professional fees?
