Single-family residence buy & hold investment.
Purchase price: $150,000
Cash invested: $10,000
I purchased this as my first rental house while attending college. I didn't want to fall into the normalization like every other college student who throws thousands of dollars down the drain because of rent. So, I wanted to be different. I saved enough money to provide a down payment on this house, then gathered some roommates to rent the other bedrooms from me. The income I make from my rented rooms is sufficient enough to cover the costs of the house (PITI, and utilities) plus extra profit.
What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?
I wanted to begin generating wealth early.

I found this through researching the real estate market. I negotiated down to a price that I would save money long term after man calculations
