Investment Info:

Single-family residence buy & hold investment.

Purchase price: $127,000
Cash invested: $4,445

I initially bought this home last March using an FHA loan and lived in it for the past Year and a half. I moved away from Statesboro but decided to keep the property and rent it. It's a great property, 4 bed, 2 bath, ranch style brick house with a fenced in backyard, new roof, new washer and dryer, new hot water heater, and new kitchen appliances. I Needed to rent the house quick and from the look of it I'm getting below market value for the property.

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

I needed a place to live and have never been a fan of renting (throwing away money) so decided to invest! The town of Statesboro is growing very fast and houses are increasing in value fairly quick.

How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

I found the deal via Zillow and had a realtor who's a close friend of mine negotiate the deal for me.

How did you finance this deal?

A bank loan
