I am new to the investment scene, been doing as much research as I can before I move to the area if i get this job. I know a flood occured recently and a lot of houses have since been remodeled. I wanted to know because flooding can occur how much risk is it to even invest in the Houston area. Is it allot for flood insurance to cover a complete loss of the house or be worth it. Also, I will be using a VA loan also for this property as I want to get started in my own real estate investment journey.

Thank you all in advance for your comments. This is my 1st post here and I want to be a regular in here now and don't hesitate to give me any advice.
