@Jaysen Medhurst There were other aspects I was looking at besides just from an investment standpoint. I was also thinking it may be a better option for my parents when they decide to downsize. They wouldn't be happy in a condo. Some people just don't like sharing walls. Thinking ahead and knowing that at some point my siblings and I will be paying for their housing. The low maintenance seemed tempting but you are right about the lot rent. However, I would not have had much other costs. My main concern was that I don't think trailers appreciate. That along with limited financing available for mobile homes, exit strategies don't look as attractive. I did decide not to contact them. I know that money could work harder for me in a different transaction. Maybe I'll revisit this idea closer to the time that they actually need it.
