Investment Info:

Single-family residence buy & hold investment in Spartanburg.

Purchase price: $65,000

Present "House Hack" of primary residence with roommates.
Mortgage is now paid off!

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

Simple personal living space needs.

How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

MLS, local realtor, good move it condition. Brought an existing roommate with me.

How did you finance this deal?

Conventional 15yr mortgage.

How did you add value to the deal?

Built floating wall to create extra bonus/bedroom to rent and make living space more to scale.

What was the outcome?

Mostly chill roommate history of a few years each.

Lessons learned? Challenges?

Importance of common space care for setting the tone for the house. Simple monthly agreements with clear terms.
