Investment Info:

Small multi-family (2-4 units) other investment.

Purchase price: $193,000
Cash invested: $7,000

I live in one side of the duplex. So the full income isn't there yet. I can rent my side out for over 1000.

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

The fact that I could live in one side of my property and rent out the other side and have 2/3 of my mortgage covered. Now I want to get deeper into this new venture.

How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

My realtor called me. I put in an offer without even looking at it. it appraised lower than he was asking so dropped to $193,000.

How did you finance this deal?

Through a mortgage lender.

How did you add value to the deal?

Well i've been renovating the side I'm living in.

What was the outcome?

still slowly going at it

Lessons learned? Challenges?

do it the right way, always!
