This was a home we purchased before the Great Recession.

Investment Info:

Single-family residence buy & hold investment.

Purchase price: $125,000

This was my primary residence that I converted to a rental unit after we moved out of Milwaukee. We bought the house for $500.00 down.

How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

I found this through an MLS.

How did you finance this deal?

We financed this deal using an 80/20 loan

How did you add value to the deal?

We painted the house, added new windows, and put a new front porch on.

What was the outcome?

So far we have had a great time and the tenants have been adequate.

Lessons learned? Challenges?

Always plan on capital expenditures!!!
