What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

My Father suggested I chip in some of my college savings towards a long-term investment. I agreed and haven't regretted it.

How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

My Father found the deal and did all the work.

How did you finance this deal?

College Savings

What was the outcome?

I currently own the entirety of the duplex. The net income of which has supported continuing education and living expenses.

Lessons learned? Challenges?

I have learned that I don't know nearly enough about real estate investing. I let my father do all the work and didn't truly start taking responsibility until I came into full ownership of it this year.
