Single Family Rentals - 2015 -

Niranjan Patel
Posted

Investment Info:

Single-family residence buy & hold investment in Greensboro.

Own 5 condos since 2015. All are currently rented.

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

My previous investment strategy was the stockmarket and soon learned that, despite doing all the company and industry research and following analysts, I still had no control over it.
So, I moved all that money into buying properties.

How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

All my rentals are foreclosed properties.

How did you finance this deal?

Cash purchases.
Currently looking into refinancing to get equity out for larger commercial investments.

How did you add value to the deal?

Renovated and put tenants in.

Lessons learned? Challenges?

While it has been fun, it is time for me to 'hang up the plunger' and get bigger properties and get management to run them.
