Small multi-family (2-4 units) buy & hold investment in Colorado Springs.
Purchase price: $250,000
Seeking a fixer upper and glad we got it first day on the market, a bit of luck.
What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?
After getting married I looked for something more suitable than a townhome to raise kids. Found a great house that needed lots of TLC and nabbed it up first day on the market. Few years and lots of sweat equity later it's worth nearly double what I paid. It's two units and a great gem in a great neighborhood.
