From a tri-plex to beyond

Investment Info:

Small multi-family (2-4 units) buy & hold investment in Reno.

Purchase price: $300,000
Cash invested: $17,000

Our first investment, a house hacked dueplex into a triplex.

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

The cashflow opportunity.

How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

MLS, through a realtor.

How did you finance this deal?

FHA Loan

How did you add value to the deal?

Added another living space, rehabbed the whole yard and landscaped.

What was the outcome?

A living space for my wife and I along with $1300 in cashflow.

Did you work with any real estate professionals (agents, lenders, etc.) that you'd recommend to others?
