Investment Info:

Single-family residence buy & hold investment.

Purchase price: $85,000
Cash invested: $2,975

SFR in a secluded touristy/destinstion area in New England

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

Living in a destination location full of tourists has given me opportunity to purchase and hold potentially great rental/Air BnB properties.

How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

Networking. Speaking to everyone I came into contact eith about my interest in real estate investing and asking lots of questions. The seller approached me on this one.

Lessons learned? Challenges?

Initially the biggest challenge was finding financing (despite me best efforts up to that point, clearly I hadn't networked enough) I've since spoken with several private money lenders to increase the velocity and success rate for my next deal(s)

Did you work with any real estate professionals (agents, lenders, etc.) that you'd recommend to others?

Real estate agent, lender, GC
