How I got started in real estate investing

Investment Info:

Single-family residence buy & hold investment in Charlotte.

Purchase price: $65,000
Cash invested: $10,000

single family built in 1952 all brick 3 bedrooms 1bathroom .21 acre +-hardwood floors heating and air conditioning no garage

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

The ability to be my own boss control my schedule achieve financial freedom and help others

How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

I attended a tour of the city given by some investors.

How did you finance this deal?

through a mortgage borker referral.

How did you add value to the deal?

replaced the heating system to include central air. replace the carpeting with hard wood floors

What was the outcome?

I still currently hold it as rental property

Lessons learned? Challenges?

I will think twice about pruchasing a home with only one bathroom
