New Apartment Complex

Hello!  I am new to this site.  I have never built nor owned an apartment complex.  I have the property, and am thinking about building a new apartment complex in the country.  I am searching for a way to crunch the numbers to make sure it makes sense.  Any advise?  Perhaps a construction spreadsheet or software?
