Central location for sharing received appraisals with others?

I cannot remember if I heard this idea on a podcast or read it in the forums or blog.  Someone mentioned the idea of having a shared place for investors to upload appraisals that they have received for properties.  I remember thinking it was a great idea, but wanted to make sure before setting up something like that, that I understand the pros (so I can tell others why it is a benefit) and the cons (why we may not want to do so).  Has anyone set up anything like this or avoided doing so?  I am looking forward to input.  Thanks!
