Hello! Looking for a little forum help already

Hi BiggerPockets! Recently discovered the BP podcast and the wonderfully informative webinars. Decided to sign up here to get the ball rolling on my passive income life that I wish I started long ago. Looking forward to learning and paying back with any knowledge I can offer myself.

My first project is going to be remodeling the ground floor section of the home first before working on the upstairs portion of the house. I received a proposal from an architect but I wanted to ask around here for a recommended second opinion or even if there's a section of the forum that I can post a PDF of the proposed plan for opinions. Can anyone point me in the right direction for either one of those topics?
