2% rule for Chicagoland area

I know about the 2% rule, but does anyone have experience in the Chicagoland area? Specifically McHenry, Cook or Kane county Illinois? Does the 2% rule apply in these areas or is 1-1.5% more realistic?

Hi @Bill Dotson and @Jonathan Klemm getting good numbers can be challenging in DuPage and Kane counties, but not impossible. I am an investor and agent.
