Starting my real estate journey!

This isn't really much of a success story but I am just thrilled to finally start working on my real estate dream!!

I've been researching and pondering real estate ever since I got married 18 months ago. I've listened to just about every Bigger Pockets podcast and they keep saying the only way to get started is to actually get started. Sadly I've been giving myself excuse after excuse not to. However I finally took some advice and leveraged my "unfair advantage" of being young and full of free time to work with/for a real estate couple in town. I worked up the courage to call them (parents of a friend from work) and they are going to mentor me in the art of real estate while I do some jobs for them!

I'm just super excited to do this, it's finally working toward my goal of being my own man.
