@Ricky Torres, it would appear that you need to put in a little work towards your goal. If you are seeking a mentor where do you think would be a good place to find one? I would assume a good place to start would be looking in your area for a local REIA (Real Estate Investment Association) group/club. There you will find all kinds of people that are in the REI world. You will find investors, bankers, RE agents, newbies, salty dogs, and posers you name it they are there. However, you might want to go take some time on getting an education in REI prior to just asking someone to be your mentor. You should know what niche as well as what strategy you want to spend time investing in (I.E. wholesaling/ SFR, Multi-Family, Commercial, Land). You have to prove to them that you are worth investing their time (which is very valuable) in you. So what do you have to offer someone that has been doing this for quite some time now? That you will have to ask/answer for yourself. When you do find that out (which getting an education will help you in determining) you might want to go and attempt to find a deal first then ask them to help you analyze to see if it truly is a deal. The rest should be fairly easy to figure out if they decide you are worth the time and effort to help. Make sure that you add value to whom ever you approach to help you. If not it will be a monumental waste of your time but mostly of theirs! Good luck and keep us posted of your progress. Oh yea, to find a REIA/Meetup in your area go to this hyperlink
