Interviewing for a Real Estate Development Analyst

Hey everyone,

So I recently interviewed with a construction company than mainly does land development, and sometimes will build if they can’t get the price they want for the land. I am interviewing for a real estate development analyst, some of it will consist of valuing projects, but I think that more of it will be dealing with investor relations. They are funded mainly through equity funds, in which the company I am applying for has to report to for their earnings. So I believe that I will be updating and maintaining documents that show how much $$ the projects are bringing in. . Does anyone have an examples or case studies that I could look at to review for my next interview? Or have an helpful readings, articles, etc. to help me learn? I have a basic understanding as I just graduated with a finance degree, but most of my experience comes from my own valuations (discounted cash flow) and geographical and housing trend valuations.

This might be kind of broad but there wasn’t really a job description in the posting.

Thanks and I appreciate the help!

Brady
