Advice appreciated! Exchange rate problem

Hey BP,

I want to invest in my first rental but there is one thing that has been stopping me; the exchange rate. The money I have is in Canada and the Canadian dollar is getting worse compared to the US. I want to buy a few rentals to supplement my income so I can be a stay at home mom. I haven't found an area where in Canada that can give me the same ROI, albeit, I haven't looked as hard. I also have to tag on $1,500 if I were to buy rentals in Canada for taxes. Anyone have any suggestions or insights?
