House Hacking for a Better Lifestyle

I bought a duplex last year in Minneapolis and am absolutely loving it. My renters cover the mortgage, roommate covers the bills + a little extra and my Airbnb room adds in another $500 a month of cashflow. So far I have not spent any money on the place after purchasing and rehabbing it. I don't take any money out of the house account and just let it pile up for improvements or cap ex/repairs. I have successful business in the Twin Cities and the house hack has allowed me to now save more than $1000 a week. I've booked and paid for two trips to Europe and bought a motorcycle recently. Since I have no monthly bills outside of car insurance I have a lot more control over my cash. My lifestyle has dramatically improved since I've been able to not worry about needing money. I didn't expect the stress that would be lifted by buying a house hack. I don't see why this isn't for everyone! Even if you just break even you may be saving more than $10,000 a year. My previous rent was $1200. Even if you have no other ambitions to be a real estate investor a house hack can drastically change your life. If you have any questions and are on the fence please reach out! I would love to help you change your lifestyle and financial status.
