Partnership Tax Question
Hello Everyone, I have a question regarding income on an investment property. For example, we own an apartment complex and I live in a unit at $800.00 a month and he lives in a unit at $400.00 a month. After expenses we make $800.00 dollars which we split $400.00 each. Do you have to pay taxes on the income we receive or would it be better if I pay $400.00 and he pays $0.00?
