Hi BP members,

Would you be so kind to advise a professional attorney and title company in Dayton, OH. I'm going to purchase commercial building in Dayton and currently looking for the title specialists, qualified to do a 1031 exchange.

Thank you

@Bob Pester, A 1031 starts with the sale of a piece of property and ends with the purchase.  If you're already in the middle of a 1031 and purchasing your replacement property then your QI should be able to work with any title company or attorney you choose.

If you're buying a property and the seller is going to begin a 1031 then any QI can help you out.  They can interface with any title co or attorney you choose as well.  Most title companies have no direct or specific experience with 1031 administration.  And the QI must be an independent 3rd party to the transaction. They usually have QI companies that are affiliated with their underwriter that they can refer to if they choose.
